Janaki, a reputed school of Chitwan lies in Bharatpur Metropolitan city-27 beside Meghauli airport with a good natural environment between the two holy rivers Narayani and Rapti river.
It was established on 10th Poush 2025 BS (24th December 1968 AD) with the motto of imparting quality education to produce the students having good moral character, social values, in fact, a good citizen who can shoulder the future responsibility of the society and country.So far as the people residing within its catchment area is concerned, most of the people are Tharu aborigines who contribute 40% students to this school. It runs from class Nursery to class twelve. To cope with the changing needs, the classes from Nursery to class nine are running in English medium and we have a plan to continue up to class 12. We are also running class 11 and 12 in science stream. This school has become a leader school in Chitwan, especially in sports.
It has been regularly winning the district level Presidential Running shield for three years. Now a student of this school named Bhuwan Mahto has broken the record in Triple jump set for 30 years and has become 1st in the national competition.The result of different classes is satisfactory. We do hope that we’ll do better in Education because we’ve made a 5 years plan to get 100% result in every class. We are on a regular dialogue with different sectors on how to develop the quality of education at this school.Thus, as a principal, I would like to request all the students, guardians, teachers, educationist and other stakeholders of education to give me hand to launch a campaign for making this school a model school in every aspect of discipline.
